Autumn Jazz a Fordingbridge Town Hall commencing at 7.30pm on 24th October, and the tickets are £15 each.
Saturday 24th October is looming, when the Fordingbridge Twinning Association will be running its annual bash, featuring cool dinner jazz and a classy buffet meal. It will be a truly “Twinned buffet meal”, with lots of French produce, brought in directly from the Vimoutiers Apple Festival which took place over the weekend before.
It promises to be a really good night, as indeed it was last year, when it was a complete sell-out! The event is the idea of the Mayor of Fordingbridge, Malcolm Connolly, who will be in attendance with his wife.
This year it features “Vanessa’s Villains” (pictured above), a local jazz trio, with superb vocalist, “Vanessa”, not to be missed, if you haven’t yet seen and heard her. They appeared at the Association’s annual Murder Mystery evening, earlier this year and were a great success. Here they are pictured playing at the Thomas Tripp in Lymington recently.
