Call Push Rescue – three simple steps that could mean the difference between life and death.  Know it and one day you could help save a life.

The Fordingbridge Community First Responders can now offer free training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), as well as the use of public access defibrillators (like the ones we are installing throughout the community).

Every year, over 30,000 people in the UK suffer a cardiac arrest out of hospital. Happening in the home, workplace or anywhere in between, it’s often witnessed by friends, family and colleagues. Without help, the person will die within minutes but immediate and effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can help double the chance of survival in some cases.

Call Push Rescue

If someone’s had a cardiac arrest, they’ll be unconscious, not breathing or not breathing normally.  The person will die within minutes without immediate help.  Act quickly and CALL PUSH RESCUE:

  • CALL 999 immediately
  • PUSH hard and fast on the centre of the chest 30 times
  • Give two RESCUE breaths
