New Forest District Council is proposing changes to the Roundhills car park in Fordingbridge and is asking for the public’s views, by 9 October.

Cllr Edward Heron, Portfolio Holder for Planning and Infrastructure, said, “We are seeking to modernise the Roundhills car park in Fordingbridge.

The changes are mainly to increase accessibility and safety in the car park, but by adding some additional planting we are aiming to make it a nicer environment for both residents and those visiting the Town.”

After discussions with Fordingbridge Parish Council and local businesses, the Council are seeking the views of the public about the changes, which include a changed layout, better drainage, and electric car charging bays.

Plans, a description of the proposed changes, and how to add comments are available on the Council’s website www.newforest.gov.uk/fordingbridgecarpark  or downloading a PDF here
