Following the announcement by the Prime Minister, David Cameron, that he intends to have a seven-day local GP service, Fordingbridge doctors are looking at ways to implement the changes while minimizing the impact on weekday patient care.
The changes are likely to add to existing pressures on doctors and medical staff, in particular the difficulties in the recruitment of GPs and Practice Nurses.
Patients of the Fordingbridge surgery can get regular updates, and have a voice in the surgery by joining the Patient Participation Group.
