Drivers over the age of 60 who would like to brush up their skills are invited to a free event next month run by Hampshire County Council.
The Drivers Skills Scheme 60+ Workshop will show people how to stay safe and independent, raise awareness of Highway Code and Driving Licence regulations and address driving with a medical condition.
The workshop will be held at The Hampshire Room, New Milton Memorial Centre, in Whitefield Road, New Milton, on Friday March 27, from 10am to 12.30pm.

New Forest District Council portfolio holder for housing and communities, Cllr Jill Cleary, said: “This workshop is a great opportunity for older drivers to brush up on their skills and road safety knowledge and make our roads a safer place to be.”
Councillor Seán Woodward, Executive Member for Economy, Transport and Environment at Hampshire County Council, added: “This is a very worthwhile event for older drivers. Hampshire’s population of older people is growing and the more support that we are able to offer to enable people to maintain their independence and keep themselves and others safe, the better.”
