The New Forest Jazz Workshop reconvened last Wednesday evening, to full attendance, and in top form too.
We welcomed several new members, including a drummer, which was refreshing, and played several jazz standards.
The NFJW is suitable for all musicians of all levels of musicianship, and is aimed at those who either aspire to learn to improvise, or to improve their improvising techniques.
The next meeting is a Sunday workshop at Godshill Village hall, right opposite the Fighting Cocks Public House, starting at 10.00 am on Sunday 17th April, followed by two Wednesday evening get-togethers, on the evenings of 20th April and then 29th June. (there is no meeting in May, owing to holidays and the unavailability of the hall)
