The Godshill Village Hall Committee has resurrected its once very popular annual murder mystery and invites you to solve the stable mystery …

It’ll take place on Saturday, 26 November 2016 at 7.00 for 7.30pm, at the Godshill Village Hall, right opposite the Fighting Cocks pub, in Godshill.

In a change to the plot publicised previously, this mystery is set in the fast-paced world of horse racing, where world famous jockey Franklie D’Orsy is guest of honour at a party celebrating his 99th straight win. But before his guests can toast his success, he is found dead in the stables – strangled with his own whip!!

The characters will be played by local actors, and the remaining dinner guests will work out who put d’Orsy out to pasture! Could it be Bob Beachway, the bookie, or Minnie Ryder, a rival jockey, or even stable hand, Walker Pony?

All will be revealed during the course of the evening! Do come along and join in, for a very entertaining event! There will be a hot supper, and plenty of fun from the characters.

Do contact Derek or Alison Ayling, on 01425 650770, for further details. Tickets are £15 each, available from Anne Dobson (01425 657664) or Alison Ayling (01425 650770).
