Representatives from Fordingbridge Greener Living (FBG) and The Branch (New Life Community Church) have been invited to attend the Duchess of Cambridge’s carol service at Westminster Abbey on Wednesday 8th December.
The carol service, hosted by the Duchess of Cambridge and supported by the Royal Foundation, will recognise and celebrate the work of “individuals and organisations across the nation who have stepped up to support their communities through the pandemic”.
Both Fordingbridge groups were nominated by the COOP due to the level of support offered to people in need over the last year. The Branch hosted the community fridge and freezer and with donations from the Coop, successful grant applications and community fundraisers, they were able to help out many families who found themselves facing difficult times.
