Last Saturday evening, 1st March, saw another successful performance of the Fordingbridge Twinning Association’s annual Murder Mystery evening.
The hall at Avonway Community Centre, was packed out, and the “play” had the biggest cast ever!
Unusually, there were 2 murderers in this dreadful tale, and 4 people got the right answer. Everyone had a lot of fun and enjoyed the home cooked dinner too.
The next major event for Fordingbridge Twinning Association will be on VE Day (8th May) when the FTA will be welcoming over 40 French visitors from its twinned town in Normandy, Vimoutiers.
They will be welcomed in the evening by Fordingbridge Town Council and FTA members. The Twinners will be taking part in the Town’s Picnic in Park on Saturday afternoon 10th May.
The group will also have a private visit to Breamore House and museum and will enjoy two musical events, including a traditional English Ceilidh. and a jazz brunch on Sunday morning before they leave Fordingbridge to catch a return ferry from Portsmouth on Sunday afternoon 11th May.
