Join us for some interesting, free walks in The New Forest area. Friday morning walks generally last for 60-90 minutes and are led by qualified leaders. Meet on Fridays by 10.20am at the following locations, for a 10.30am start.

02/10/26. Martin Down Nature reserve – Upper Car park off A354 near Bokerley Junction Nearest Post Code SP5 5RQ | Largely flat walk on good paths in an interesting landscape, nature & wildlife. Free Parking. Refreshments at the Compass Inn in Damerham 01725 518231
09/10/26. Ashley Walk – Ashley Walk car park off B3078. Nearest Post Code SP6 2LN. | A quite strenuous walk with 4-5 steep climbs, but worth it for the views. Refreshments at Fighting Cocks pub in Godshill 01425 652462
16/10/26. Avon Valley path to Ibsley common – meet opposite Moyles Court school Nearest Post Code BH24 3NF | A mixture of woodland and open spaces, mostly on good tracks. Some small hills but largely flat. Free parking. Refreshments at the Alice Lisle pub in Rockford 01425 474700
22/10/26. Cadman’s Pool & Fritham woods – Cadman’s Pool Car Park. Nearest Post Code BH24 3QZ | A gently undulating circular walk with a long (not steep) gradient to finish. Slightly longer than usual. Refreshments at the Red Shoot Inn 01425 473789 or High Corner Inn
30/10/26. Abbotswell & Ogden’s Purlieu – Frogham car park, Abbotswell Road, Frogham Nearest Post Code SP6 2JD | Circular Walk on good tracks. Some sections can be wet & there are a couple of steep ascents/descents. Refreshments at the Foresters Arms in Frogham 01425 652294

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. All walks are at your own risk. We strongly recommend that you wear walking shoes/boots as paths can be muddy after rain. No need to book, just turn up, register & go. Contact Phil or phone Jan on 07737 688523.
