The photograph shows the annual “Musical Soiree” which took place last Saturday evening 2nd November, organised by the Fordingbridge Twinning Association. It featured the fabulous “Blue Tides” led by the prolific Stephen Godsall.

This is an annual event, is always a sell-out and always takes place two weeks after the Fete de la Pomme (Apple Festival) in Vimoutiers twinned with Fordingbridge, where the French food and drinks are purchased ready for the Musical Soiree.

The next Twinning event, which is expected to be another sell-out event, is the annual “Murder Mystery”, which will take place on Saturday evening 8th February.

This time it will be entitled “The Porthole Affair”, when a dentist (whose name is “Hal E Tosis), has been murdered.

The sister ship of the Titanic, is bound for New York. The sudden death of this famous (or infamous?) dentist is followed by another death, this time a suicide.

This time, Detective Inspector “Ivor Notion” takes over the investigation, and soon realises that all is not as it seems. Watch this space!
